This course begins with registration at 1 p.m. on the first day and it ends at 3 p.m. on the last day.
 

This five-day course is designed to bring your practical skills to the advanced level. We will pay careful attention to conducting and acting, including reviewing the main forms and when to use them. Conducting practice will include warming up any audience; assessing how much (or how little) you need to repeat for the actors; and embracing stories that may not be easy to tell. We’ll also explore other topics such as recruiting and training company members, and the practical issues that come up in running a group.

Prerequisite: Core Training and Conducting, plus practical playback theatre experience, or by special permission of the instructor
