Training path in playback theatre

1. INTRODUCTORY LEVEL:

Playback Theatre Sampler(1 day course) or Core Training (4-5 day course)

2. INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED LEVELS:

Advanced Skills in Playback Theatre and Selected Topics courses (3-5 day courses)

3. GRADUATING LEVEL:

PT Leadership (three-week course) which is offered every two years, the next one will be offered in 2010.

• Each level assumes mastery of core competencies in key aspects of the study of playback theatre, including: performance, conducting, music, ritual, social awareness and theory.
• Students are granted advanced placement based on their prior playback theatre experience.
• Graduates receive a diploma.
